With over 10 years of experience in the teaching profession, I have had the privilege of working with renowned ICSE schools such as Techno India School, Zee School, and Vivekananda Institution. My primary focus has been teaching English and Social Science. I hold a Master’s degree in History with an A grade, and I established Queen's Valley School in 2021.
With a BA in History and a B.Ed., and five years of experience in the teaching field, I bring a strong academic background and practical knowledge to my role as a Social Science teacher at Queen's Valley School. I am passionate about helping students explore and understand the world around them. My teaching approach transforms history, geography, and civics into vibrant subjects, using engaging lessons and interactive discussions to spark curiosity. I focus on encouraging students to appreciate different cultures, analyze historical events, and understand societal structures, all while developing critical thinking skills. My mission is to connect the past with the present, empowering students to become informed, responsible citizens.
With an MSc in zoology from Panskura Banamali College, where I achieved an 8 CGPA, and over 5 years of experience in the teaching profession, I bring a solid foundation in life sciences to my role as the Biology Assistant Teacher at Queen's Valley School. I am passionate about guiding students through the intricacies of the natural world, supporting the biology curriculum with a focus on fostering deep understanding, curiosity, and critical thinking. My commitment is to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire students to explore the fascinating complexities of biology, helping them build a strong foundation for their scientific education.
With over 10 years of experience in teaching mathematics, I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics and have had the privilege of working at more than three schools. Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, particularly in teaching students at various levels. My primary focus here is to teach mathematics in a way that is both engaging and effective for the students in the upper section. My goal is to provide a learning experience that empowers them to understand and master the subject, ensuring that they not only grasp mathematical concepts but also develop a deep appreciation for the subject’s beauty and relevance.
I have completed a BBA in Hospitality Management and am currently pursuing a Master's in Hospital Administration (MHA). With a passion for teaching, I serve as a Class 1 teacher, where I instruct students in Math, Science, and Computer. Additionally, I teach Computer to Classes 2 and 3, and Drawing to students across Classes 1 to 8. My background also includes a diploma in fine arts, allowing me to incorporate creativity into my lessons. My diverse qualifications help me provide a holistic learning experience for my students.
I am a Team Member with a Master’s in Science (MS/M.Sc) from Chandigarh University, Mohali, and a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) from Calcutta University. With over 2 years of experience and having completed an internship, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in the field. Although relatively new to professional teaching, I am currently working as a Team Member at TaskUs. I specialize in teaching Chemistry and Physics for Classes 9 and 10, bringing a strong academic foundation in science to my role. I have a passion for teaching and am dedicated to helping students understand and appreciate the subject matter.
I am Ajmina Khatun, an assistant teacher with a strong commitment to nurturing and guiding young learners. I completed my B.A. from Vidyasagar University in 2009 and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Bengali from Calcutta University. I have completed a Diploma in Pre-Primary and Primary Teacher Training using Montessori methods and a BSS Advanced Diploma in Nursery and Primary Education, both in 2022-2023. With three years of experience as an assistant teacher in junior classes at Queen’s Valley School and two years as a part-time teacher at Kola Union Girls School, I have developed a deep understanding of how to engage and support students in their educational journey. Additionally, I bring creative skills as a mother teacher for Nursery and as a Bengali teacher, committed to making learning a joyful and impactful experience.
I am a passionate and committed English teacher with a strong academic foundation in English literature. I completed my B.A. (Hons) in English from the University of Calcutta in 2021, securing 67.97%, and my M.A. in English from the same university in 2023 with 56.04%. My school education was completed under the West Bengal boards, with 67.4% in Secondary (WBBSE, 2016) and 71.6% in Higher Secondary (WBCHSE, 2018). I am currently pursuing B.Ed from BSAEU to enhance my teaching abilities and classroom engagement.
With one year of experience in English tuition, I have developed effective teaching strategies and a strong rapport with students. I am now proud to be a part of Queen's Valley School (QVS), where I have taken up the responsibility of teaching English to the higher classes – VIII, IX, and X. My goal is to inspire students to appreciate the depth and beauty of the English language and help them excel both academically and personally.
I am Sonami Chakraborty, a dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching English and Environmental Studies (EVS). I graduated with an A grade in Bachelor of Arts in English from Midnapore City College, Vidyasagar University, in 2023, achieving a percentage of 85.2%. I have a solid foundation in academics, having completed my higher secondary education in Science with 73.4% and secondary education with 87.5%. My experience includes teaching English and EVS at various classes in Queen's Valley School, where I specialize in helping students advance their language skills from basic to advanced levels. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students through effective communication and a supportive classroom environment. In my free time, I enjoy reading literature, writing short stories, traveling, and exploring different cultures, as well as engaging in activities like singing, drawing, and coding. I thrive on challenges and am committed to delivering high-quality education to my students.
I am Sneha Maity, a dedicated educator with a specialization in Biology and a strong academic background in the sciences. I completed my Class 10 from the ICSE Board and my Class 12 from the CBSE Board, earning an M.Sc. in Microbiology with an A grade. My teaching experience encompasses English, Science, and Biology, where I aim to inspire my students to develop a passion for learning. I have gained practical experience through an internship on leishmaniasis (kala-azar) at Calcutta University (Ballygunge Science College). I have also participated in a one-day workshop at IIT Kharagpur, as well as at Ramakrishna Mission (Belur) and Vidyasagar University. Additionally, I have attended various seminars at prestigious institutions, including Bankura Sammilani College, the Microbiology Society of India, and the Royal Society. My diverse experiences and commitment to education allow me to foster a rich learning environment for my students.
I am Anamika Bera Das, an accomplished educator with a Master's degree in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University and a Bachelor of Physical Education from Calcutta University. With a diverse teaching background, I have spent 1 year as a Games Teacher at Techno India Public School and 1 year and 6 months as an Assistant Teacher at a Madrasa school. Currently, I am in my 3rd year at Queen's Valley School, where I serve as both an Assistant Teacher and Games Teacher, impacting students from UKG to Class VIII. Additionally, I specialize in yoga, incorporating its principles into my teaching to promote physical and mental well-being among my students. I am also the founder of Nrityangana Dance and Cultural Academy, established in 2014, where I foster creativity and cultural expression through dance. My passion for education and the arts drives me to create engaging and supportive learning environments for all my students.
I hold a BA degree from Sushilabati Government Women's College and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Hindi from Pourkela, Orissa. I have completed a Diploma in Primary Teacher's Training in Pre-Primary Education from the National Bastitu Jas Institute, located in Falguni Readikala Block, Ber Sector-3, Bidharhager, Kolkata, West Bengal. With over 3 years of experience as an Assistant Teacher at Queen's Valley School, I specialize in teaching various subjects. Additionally, I have experience as a Mehendi Artist. I currently serve as the Mother Teacher for P.G. Clay and a Hindi Teacher for P.G. to Class 7.
I am a Full Stack Developer with a robust foundation in web development, specializing in the MERN stack and PHP. I graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Panskura Banamali College in 2023, where I developed a strong technical skill set. My education included an industrial visit to Sri Sri University in Cuttack, where I presented on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and participated in a seminar, enriching my understanding of practical applications in technology.
Currently, I am employed at Quantum Brize as a Full Stack Developer, contributing to innovative projects while continuously seeking to expand my expertise in the latest technologies. Prior to this, I worked at Rectus Media Pvt Ltd as a PHP and WordPress Developer, actively contributing to various projects. I also serve as a part-time MERN Stack instructor at Mecheda RCLD, guiding BSc and BTech students through their final year projects. Additionally, I am an Assistant Computer Teacher at Queen's Valley School, where I teach students from grades 4 to 10. My projects, including Inventory Management Lab and CRM Form Management, demonstrate my commitment to building innovative web applications that meet user needs and enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, I enjoy drawing, with a specialization in watercolor.
I hold a Master's Degree in Rabindra Sangeet from Rabindra Bharati University (R.B.U.) and a B.Ed. I have 1 year of experience as an Assistant Teacher at Kisoloy School in Bagnan and 2 years as an Assistant Teacher at Queen's Valley School. I am also the founder of Nrityangana Dance and Cultural Academy, which I established in 2014. In my role as a teacher, I serve as the Mother Teacher for L.K.G. With a strong passion for both dance and yoga, these are my areas of specialization, and I aim to integrate these disciplines into my teaching.
